About One Thumb Arcade

Browser and mobile games created by One Thumb Arcade LLC, an independent game studio in Washington state.

The studio behind the arcade

One Thumb Arcade designs and develops games across web and mobile, from daily puzzles to action games and longer campaigns.

OTA develops and maintains the playable games on this website: their rules, controls, progression, interfaces, and visual worlds. The arcade brings those games together in one place, with a direct way to play and a guide written for each game.

Ideas you can play

Our games range from a short daily puzzle to a campaign you return to over time. In Riff, numbers follow a repeating rise and fall along ribbons. Lineup Link connects ten MLB players through fifteen career and biographical links. Alibi asks you to place five suspects and identify the one liar, while Sevenfold puts words into the seven regions of three overlapping rules.

Cubed takes the block puzzle into a rotating 5 × 5 × 5 space, with layers and walls to clear. Thread turns following a glowing laser into a challenge of timing, collectibles, and daily courses. Both combine simple controls with room to improve through practice.

In Tumbleverse, three browser worlds—Toybox Tumble, Sports Stack, and Halloween Haul—use themed pieces that tumble and merge. Plumber offers 100 levels of pipe routing. Longer projects include restoring Idle Bakery, building a seaside park in Boardwalk, and developing a fleet in Idle Drone Strike.

Iron Meridian combines base building, resource production, and automatic defenses across a military campaign. Wreckline makes a truck’s cargo part of its combat, and Cosmic Chomp explores a growing alien food chain.

Our versions of familiar games

We also develop our own implementations of familiar puzzle formats, including Sudoku and the block-placement game Tessaro. We distinguish the games and versions we build from the established ideas they draw on.

Built, played, and refined

Development continues after a game becomes playable. We test the controls, tune progression and difficulty, improve layouts, and fix problems reported by players. Each game’s rules and strategy guide explains its current mechanics, including scoring, saved progress, and daily challenges where applicable.

Beyond the browser

Our mobile lineup includes Thread, Tumbleverse, Plumber, Cubed, Idle Drone Strike, Idle Bakery, Iron Meridian, and Riff. From guiding a shape along a glowing laser to building and clearing a 3D cube, each brings a different way to play. Visit Mobile games for a look at what’s launching soon.
